Where do toddlers learn this stuff?

First story: We were in Toys R'Us the other night. I was looking for the Ants in the Pants game. I think Clara would enjoy this game. Anyway, I also went to check out their prices for dress up princess clothes. Clara loves to wrap her blankets up around here and say she is dressed like a princess. First off, where did she learn that?...where did she (a girl) learn about princesses....

Okay, anyway, they have a better selection than Walmart and Target but for some the prices are higher. Then I see a section where the prices are lower and more reasonable. Now, I wasn't sure I was going to buy a dress up dress at that point in time but Clara sees this white one hanging there and says, "I want that white dress." And she says it till I take it off the rake. Okay, so I am holding it...Clara takes my hand and in the sweetest, most innocent voice says, "Okay mommy, now let's take your dress and go."

Okay, seriously, where did she learn this stuff?

Second story: We were sitting at the dinner table: Mike, myself, and Clara. Now Clara sometimes eats her food and sometimes does not. I guess she is a typical toddler like that. Okay, so, anyway, Mike asks her if she ate any of her food. And her answer is...get this..."maybe."

Okay, where did she learn the word maybe and what it means?...Seriously.
